The line which supports hot deployment of pages.xml files is this one: getServletContext().removeAttribute( Seam.getComponentName(Pages.class) ); Which is not inside that if block. Hum, no, sillyme, @EJB only works in EE5, of course, I got confused because of days between posts :-) You can, however, use a normal JNDI lookup. If its only one or two spots in your code that you need this, just go down that route, you won't need anything else. OTOH, if you are calling *hundreds* or EJB2 beans, let me know. [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - How to override JBOSS_CLASSPATH classes ? ? ?

Can anyone tellme how do i override the classes in jboss classpath. Basically i wanted to put a jar in my application lib and wanted to give it the topmost preference even if a similar class is found in the JBOSS_CLASSPATH (and not server/lib ) . I tried parent delegation but it doesnt work ... The class loader always picks up the classes in the JBOSS_CLASSPATH even when i define a similar class in my application/lib jar.
