RMI is always an option since you're using EJB. Is example.war a servlet deployment? If so, it would conflict with the generated war for the service. Otherwise you don't need that entry. Can you also try contextRoot=""? Well, I think your ERM is broken. I think you will need three classes: -Item, to represent the information about the item. This contains an @EmbeddedId property of the ItemPK. -ItemPK, the primary key of the Item class. Should be annotateed @Embeddable. (BTW: Why do you store a TABLE_NAME. Does this refer to a table in the db? This sounds fishy.). Make sure you implement equals and hashcode-methods. - Create a Store Class which holds a Collection of Items (Set) as one of its properties and use @ManyToMany with an adequat @JoinTable. I cannot see why a store should extend an item. Do they share any properties except the pk of the item? [JBoss jBPM] - How to assign multiple actors to a task

Hi All, I am newbie to jbpm and use jbpm 3.1.2 version. This is my requirement: I want to assign a task to multiple actors so that any of assinged actor can perform the task. In the following example, when process reaches 'test' task, i want to assing this task to two users. [Persistence, JBoss/CMP, Hibernate, Database] - One SELECT request per field by read-only setting for get* m

Hi, I have the following problem: to improve performance I have set some methods (getters) of my entity to be read only for jboss. This stops unwanted UPDATEs after SELECT, but causes a SELECT request for every(!) field of my db table (instead of 1 SELECT). I suppose this has something to do with caching, but I didn't find what I have to change in the config files. Can someone explain this or give me a link where to find more infos? Thanks, Uris. If you need to fix it asap, i would recommend just increasing your stack size (-Xss jvm option).
