Define the proxy for ant: http://ant.apache.org/manual/install.html To do that you can use define ANT_OPTS On Linux: export ANT_OPTS="-Dhttp.proxyHost=proxy -Dhttp.proxyPort=81" should work fro you after replacing the proxy settings of course. [JBoss Portal] - JBoss portal newbie building source file

Hi I am a newbie to jboss portal. I downloaded the source code of JBoss portal 2.4.0 while trying to build the source code the build tries to download some files from the online repository for building a .ent file. Since I am behind a proxy server it is not able to access the online repository. Is there any other way the build can be done??
