[JBossCache] - JBossCache for Clustered Applications - timer service

Hello, I'm new to the topic cluster-enabeled applications. As far as I understand the transactional behaviour of JBoss in case of locking an object, is that it is only locked in one cache and namespace of one application instance. The 'same' objects in the other caches of the remaining application instances aren't locked. This is not possible, i.e. locking one or more objects in all caches of all application instances is impossible. Am I correct? [JBoss Seam] - Re: Excel support in Seam: any interest?

I quite like the idea proposed by the jXLS project (http://jxls.sourceforge.net). That is to have excel templates that already have the formats and formulas defined and just replace data into predefined areas. [JBoss Messaging] - Adittional instructions for JBoss Messaging Standalone + Ora

For anyone interested. In case you want to use JBoss Messaging in a standalone mode (like instructed by the Wiki) and you want to use Oracle, you need these following aditional steps. Edit messaging-standalone/conf/jboss-service.xml Add anonymous wrote : | | Copy standardjbosscmp-jdbc.xml to the same folder (conf) as the previous file. If you don't do this, then you will have a deployment error. Could someone from the Messaging team validate these instructions, and if so add it to the wiki? Was the only way I could get Messaging in a standalone environment while using an Oracle DB. [Security & JAAS/JBoss] - JBoss-sso class cast exception SSOUser

Hi, I've configured a JBoss-sso RC1 environment in jboss-4.0.5. And I'm trying to use the DemoLoginProvider with an simpel non JAAS application. I can see JBoss-sso start up fine and there are no error with deploying the application. However when I call the application and after the org.jboss.security.saml.SSOManager.processManualLoginNotification(request, "foo-user"); I get an java.lang.ClassCastException: org.jboss.security.saml.SSOUser I checkout out the code and can see that it throws this acception when it's trying to get the SSOUser object from the session. Below my configuration and the complete exception. [JBoss jBPM] - VariableInstance name set to null when deleting

Hi, When the type variable changes, the old type is deleted. It's ok But when I check in my db, I see that all the field are set to null even the name.
