[JBossCache] - Re: PojoCacheListener does not propagate in a cluster

Yes, the PojoCache listener is only acting in local mode. We are still invetigating a good way to map this into remote notification. Thanks very much! This was exactly my problem! In case you are wondering about it failing on the 3rd deployment instead of the 2nd... it turns out I had given the 2nd app a different identifier already, but the 3rd was a duplicate of the 1st, and I was always deploying in the same order. I was wondering why it wasn't failing on the 2nd deployment. Thanks so much for your help! Hello JBoss Folks, In the Clustering and Caching in JBoss POJO Web Application "clusterstore" demo from the link http://clusterstore.demo.jboss.com having the README.txt file in http://clusterstore.demo.jboss.com/README.txt In that file it states that, anonymous wrote : 4. Copy the "cluster/creditcardprocessor.ejb3" file to the server's | "server/default/deploy" directory. This is the credit card verification | service MDB. But, I haven't found any file like that in the downloaded demo source. Please help, where can I find that file? Any help is greatly appreciated. [JBoss Eclipse IDE (users)] - JBoss IDE: setProperty must be overridden by all subclasses

Background info: JBOSS: 4.0.5.GA JBOSS IDE: 1.5.1 JDK's: 1.5/6 Issue: This has been the hardest web service I have ever written in my life :) I have been working on this thing for the last week. I have played around with the class path and researched as much as I could on this issue. There appears to be a bug reported somewhere on the JIRA site. The issue is that the SoapMessage.setProperty(String property, Object value) that comes bundles with JDK is somehow incompatible with the jboss server libraries using both JDK1.5 and JDK1.6 (I tried both). Is there a workaround for this? Should I try to find older versions of the SOAPMessage jars and play russian roulette with the classpath? Should I be doing better thing at 12:36 on a friday night? stay tuned.....and post if you find something!! [JBoss Seam] - Questions on s:selectItems

Hi, It seems that s:selectItems has a bug. If I use "em" entity manager name in the components.xml: <core:managed-persistence-context name="em" | persistence-unit-jndi-name="java:/cvnEntityManagerFactory"/>, and I used following code in converters class:return ((EntityManager) Component.getInstance("em")).find( | Category.class, Integer.valueOf(arg2)); then I got the entityManager is null exception. However, after I change "em" to "entityManager", exception disappeared. I have been using "em" for a little long time. Should I have to use "entityManger"? In addition, I ever read a posting which stated the s:selectItems currently doesn't support h:selectOneRadio. Is it correct? since I cannot get it work. Thanks. [JBoss Portal] - Portlets that are bult with Seam facelets

Is anyone able to estimate a date when we can start creating portlets with Seam and facelets ? The Seam portal example uses JSP only. The Management portlet provides an excellent example of a portlet that is build with facelets, and the icing on the cake will be when we can use Seam as well (i.e. no need for Managed Beans).
