[JBoss Seam] - trouble with h:commandLink and f:param...

When I switch to s:link all works fine, but I must submit the form. thanks... Okay, I recreated your problem by changing my /etc/hosts to the same as yours, as follows: ::1 localhost localhost.localdomain 127.0.0.1 localhost After changing to this the same problem occurs, even with a wireless connection. I then just added localhost.localdomain to the IPv4 line as follows: ::1 localhost localhost.localdomain 127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain This makes the IPv4 and IPv6 lines match, and then the AS boots fine. So, just add localhost.localdomain to the 127.0.0.1 line, and everything should work. [JBoss Seam] - Scalability

Hi, I'm planning to migrate an intranet application to Seam but I've some doubts about scalability. Currently the existing application is based on javabeans (plain java classes) and jsp pages with 150 concurrent users. The application is a browser of 10 different databases. Users run reports and search for information in the different databases. I started using seam-gen to do some test and result are very good but, What is the impact of so many statefull objects if I've 150 (or more) users using the application ?. The JPA hint feature is for adding hints for the entityManager not the database. As far as I know you can only use SQL hints if you use native queries. no because in myeclipse you pointed to their DTP database connection, right ? for b9 you need to use a different cfg.xml since it is not possible to use jboss local datasources from within eclipse. In nightly build (and possibly alson in b9 but i havent tested) you can specify a hibernate.properties or any other properteis file and specify normal connection properties to override what is in your Appserver specfic setup. [JBoss Eclipse IDE (users)] - Hibernate Tools and datasource in hibernate.cfg.xml

Hello all, i tried to use jbosside with an existing tomcat webproject based on jsf and hibernate. Unfortunatly i get an "org.hibernate.HibernateException: Could not find datasource". My hibernate.cfg.xml looks like <hibernate-configuration> | <session-factory> | <property name="dialect"> | org.hibernate.dialect.MySQLDialect | </property> | <property name="connection.datasource"> | java:comp/env/jdbc/mangos | </property> | <mapping /> | </session-factory> | </hibernate-configuration> The datasource is configured in META-INF/context.xml. How must i setup the project that this is working. With Myeclipse IDE it was no problem. Post the exception :), see if it pins things down... If you submit a testcase to JIRA (needs to be simple and have just enough code to demonstrate the problem) I'll take a look at it.
