I've not been able to find a non-IBM JRE for AIX. However, I was able to eliminate this error message. As you stated above, the problem was related to IPv6. Though IPv6 did not appear to be enabled, I had to pass the below argument when running the program in order to force it to use IPv4. -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true Thanks so much for your help in getting this error resolved! However, unfortunately I'm still not able to receive messages from the sender program. Please let me know if you have any thoughts on why this is true(The network config appears to be fine, IGMP snooping is disabled, as is port isolation. The two machines are on the same switch). I found it in server/[all|default]/deploy/jbossws.sar/jbossws-core.jar in 4.0.5.GA. I could not find it in 4.2.0.CR1. I've loaded just about all jars from the JBOSS server, client and jbossws.sar and ejb3deployer.sar, to no avail. Can someone shed some light on which jar the PortComponent annotation is located. [JBoss Seam] - Re: seam-gen and @GeneratedValue

Hiya, Sorry, project isn't currently critical so I'm holding on until seam-gen can do the work. My fix would be to add the annotation, as you suggest. The other thing is to check the persistent configuration. I think mine ended up with validate in one of the properties in persistence.xml, which I would probably change to update and allow the code then to regenerate the schema for me. It may be that you'll need to check out the @GeneratedValue parameters to make sure that you select the appropriate option for the way that your database works with sequence numbers. The default may not be suitable for your set up. Andy. [EJB/JBoss] - Timer getInfo returns null?

I am using EJB2.1 on Jboss 4.0.2. I create a timer using TimerService ts = sc.getTimerService(); Timer timer = ts.createTimer(initialExpire, timeout,timerName); Later ts.getTimers() returns me a collection of all the created Timers. But when I call timer.getInfo() on these timers I get a 'null' instead of the timername as expected. Has anyone faced this problem before? Is there any way to set and later obtain the timername? Using the Seam security to restrict access to admin dependent on domain is probably overkill. Upgrading to 1.2.0.sp1 seems to have taken care of the problem.
