[Messaging, JMS & JBossMQ] - hsqldb-jdbc2-service.xml, HighMemoryMark and MaxMemoryMark

Hi, this is a snhapshot of my hsqldb-jdbc2-service.xml configuration file: <mbean code="org.jboss.mq.server.MessageCache" | name="jboss.mq:service=MessageCache"> | <attribute name="HighMemoryMark">0</attribute> | <attribute name="MaxMemoryMark">0</attribute> | <attribute name="CacheStore">jboss.mq:service=PersistenceManager</attribute> | </mbean> | I set HighMemoryMark and MaxMemoryMark to '0' value in order to see my localDB.data file growing up. I know, watching the hsqldb log file localDB.log, that the MessageCache write jms messages in the hsqld but localDB.data file size is always 0. I am using jboss3.2.7 with jvm1.4.2. I made the same test with jboss4.0 and jvm5 and localDB.data grew up as I expected. Am I missing something? Yes, I agree. It is very common situation. I also use nested conversations for this. Hi Andrew, 1. I apologize for my bewildering request for a clarification of "each time it fires". I read too quickly and missed "a MDB" from the beginning of your question, and I thought "JBoss Messaging" was the antecedent of "it". 2. With your help I was able to reproduce the WARNING message, and I see why it's happening. [JBoss Seam] - Transaction Demarcation

Hi, I have a webapplication, which imports data about customers from a text file. Each row contains a record out of which several entity bean are being created and assembled. The function, which reads in a line an creates those entity beans and sets up the relationships between them is called "createCustomer(String line)". This method gets called several times from another function called "createCustomers()". I have noticed that the whole process is treated as a unit of work. Either all customers and relating entity beans are created or none. They seem to span one single transaction. Assuming that the client call to "createCustomers()" is triggered through a seam web request by the user, how would I assure that for each call to "createCustomer(String line)" a new transaction is spanned? I want to narrow the transaction scope down to a single customer instead of all the customers. How would I use the @Transactional attribute to achieve that? From reading the oreilly book I figured I would have to use the transaction attribute "Requires New", which however does not seem to exist as an attribute in seam. Hi, I have the same problem. When I run JBoss in debug, it stops at several places and I need to resume, but there are no errors or warnings on the console and the server seems to work fine. If you figured out the issue, could you kindly let me know as well.
