[Beginners Corner] - Does jBPM have a integrated mail server?

Hi, I am using JBPM in my development project, preetty new to this technology. I wanted to send some notifications to the users as well as some mails to some email ids of the users, so would some one be able to let me know how to go about it? does jBPM has its own mail server? or do we have to configure any other server for that? Correct, and whether it is dataloss is debatable (the behaviour is by design). The data A modified is still present in that finished task. If you want/prefere other behaviour, you can discuss that in the design forum, but keep in mind... it is a real complex issue that often has it's roots in an not well designed process. [JBoss jBPM] - TaskNodes ignored by JBPM

Hello, I use JPBM 3.1.4 in JBoss AS 4.0.4. I copied the jbpm.sar and my configured data source from the starters kit 3.1.4 into JBoss AS 4.0.4. My problem is the following. I built a minimal application that creates a ProcessInstance by the "the baby process"-definition (start node, 1 task node, end node) from the examples and gives signals and the node names after that. When I deploy it to the starters kit AS, it works fine. Every node is entered and the task instance ist created and assigned. In my AS 4.0.4 the task node ist completely ignored and the token goes directly to the end node after one signal. Does anyone know, what could be the cause of this problem? Hi - I am also new to the clustering aspects of JBoss and suffering similar confusion I think about entity persistence in a cluster. Section 10.3 here: http://labs.jboss.com/file-access/default/members/jbosscache/freezone/doc... implies replication via the cache is persisted ( ? ) I've got a test setup with 2 machines in a cluster which seems to work (I can see the cache replication working via JMX console) but what I also see despite entities being replicated in the cache, the DB is still always being queried (I can see the query count increase in the DB (MySQL) tools). I would expect not to see a DB access for cached entities. Any thoughts on that one ? Amnas, Solving this problem is not very different from e.g. trying to run jBPM with Tomcat. There is lots of info on this in this forum and in the wiki. [JBossWS] - Accessing a .NET web service from JBoss 4.0.4

Hi all, I hope someone here help me with a problem I have accessing a .NET web service from a JBoss J2EE application. Everything seems to be okay up to the point where I try to access the first method when I get the following exception... java.rmi.RemoteException: Call invocation failed: Target endpoint address not set; nested exception is: org.jboss.ws.WSException: Target endpoint address not set at org.jboss.ws.jaxrpc.CallImpl.invokeInternal(CallImpl.java:719) at org.jboss.ws.jaxrpc.CallImpl.invoke(CallImpl.java:398) at org.jboss.ws.jaxrpc.CallProxy.invoke(CallProxy.java:164) Any advice on where I need to look to correct this problem gratefully received.
