[JBoss Seam] - pages.xml, @Restrict and exception not working for me

I'm trying to use the @Restrict annotation in an app originating from seam-gen (Seam 1.1.6). The org.jboss.seam.security.NotLoggedInException exception is correctly thrown but it looks like the page is half rendered, rather than redirecting to "/login.xhtml". Because it's half rendered, this presumably happens upon first access of the action, in which case it's too late to redirect. I also tried <restrict>#{identity.loggedIn}</restrict> in pages.xml. I am also using ICEFaces. Here is an update: I was able to inject the PersistenceContext into my session bean by retrieving the LocalInterface class from the InitialContext within my web service java class. | SampleClass sc = null; | InitialContext ic = new InitialContext(); | sc = (ISampleClass)ic.lookup("MyEar/SampleClass/local"); | I tried injecting the EJB at the class level - but that was always null. | @EJB (mappedName="MyEar/SampleClass/local") | SampleClass sc; | I also tried just setting the mapped name to: SampleClass, MyEar/SampleClass and a bunch of other things - but none of them worked. Is this the optimal solution to get my web service an instance of my stateless session bean from the container? I am trying to run the Hello World Example. When I ran the client I am getting the error. [EJB/JBoss] - Primary key class throws CreateException()

Hallo, When I'm making an Entity Bean with multiple Primary keys (two or more attributes makes together the PK) I can not deploy Jboss anymore since the ejbCreate() method of the primary key class throws CreateException(). [Clustering/JBoss] - Securing Cluster: JGroup AUTH

I'm trying to 'secure' a JBoss cluster (3 nodes) so that new nodes that are put up on the network do not join without proper authorization. I have configured the cluster-service.xml to give the cluster a unique name, so I can avoid problems with the default settings. What I would like to do, however, is secure it such that a node must pass some authorization to join (such as a username/password from an LDAP repository). I have been searching for information on the JGroups AUTH, but is seems to be few and far between (only these urls, not very useful: http://blogs.jboss.com/blog/bela/2005/12/16/JGroups_and_authentication_or... and http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=Authentication and finally, http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=JGroupsAUTH) Is there more information out there on setting this up that I'm not looking in the right place for? [JBoss jBPM] - Appfuse db-drop and JBPM

we recently upgraded from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3 and the "db-drop" ant target in AppFuse stopped working. the error centers around the exception: C:\PROJECT\choreo\build.xml:1113: Schema text failed: Could not parse mapping document from file C:\PROJECT\choreo\lib\jbpm-3.1.3\src\bin\org\jbpm\context\exe\CustomLongClass.hbm.xml which is caused by: Caused by: org.hibernate.MappingException: class org.jbpm.context.exe.CustomLongClass not found while looking for property: id when i twiddle the classpath to find the class files in in the bin directory, i start getting name.space collisions (multiply defined classes, etc.). has anyone come across this issue in their travels. apologies about possible lack of details, i'm not a jbpm expert so i'm fumbling a bit. == stanton View the original post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=4040710#4040710 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=4040710
