Why not just give BusinessHome two different roles? A nested conversation shares the instances from the outer conversation, so your approach certainly won't work. [JBoss Seam] - search in seam-gen application

Hello =)) i'm new to seam and i made an application with seam-gen but there is one problem.. when i'm trying to search some data that written in other languages except english it never works. But i can read and insert this data in database via an application. Ohh.. i forgot that same search works fine in application made with jsp. Does anyone know the reason of this problem? Is it a bug of facelets or maybe i must add something in *.xhml pages ? [Beginners Corner] - Log4j on JBoss

besides the default log4j.xml in JBoss, if I want to load another one, it seems like JBoss always filter it with "System.out" logger if i use "Console" appender. So the output becomes: 05/03/2007 INFO [STDOUT] 05/03/2007 INFO [Test] Hello World! It appears twice. Can anybody tell me how to avoid it? Thanks. [JBoss Seam] - selectOneMenu with s:convertEntity and noSelectionLabel does

Hello there, I got a simple menu using | <ice:selectOneMenu id="#{messages['region']}" styleClass="selectTagMenu" value="#{siteList.selectedRegion}" | partialSubmit="true"> | <s:selectItems value="#{regions.resultList}" var="region" | label="#{region.name}" noSelectionLabel="Select..."/> | <s:convertEntity /> | </ice:selectOneMenu> | <ice:commandButton value="#{messages['reset']}" | action="#{siteList.reset}" / | This is all wonderful and the list is displayed. However if I don't select anything (as it is optional) and click the command button the value of the selectOneMenu is "Select..." and the EntityConverter gets confused in | public Object getAsObject(FacesContext facesContext, UIComponent cmp, String value) throws ConverterException | { | if (value == null) | { | return null; | } | Integer key = new Integer(value); | Class clazz = EntityConverterStore.instance().getClass(key); | Object id = EntityConverterStore.instance().getId(key); | return loadEntityFromPersistenceContext(clazz, id); | } | the value is a string and not null. Hence new Integer(value) fails. Am I missing something or is there an easy fix short from not using entities directly or leaving out the noSelectionLabel? Your help is appreciated. I just tried this on both IE6 and IE7 and I could not reproduce the issue (the file uploaded successfully). It may be possible that the issue is fixed in CVS, is it possible for you to try with the latest nightly build? [JBoss Seam] - seam for Eclipse RCP

Hello All, We are currently using Hibernate for our RCP application..but have lots of trouble figuring out best way to manage sessions ( tried every thing from one long running session to HMVC from Chistian's presentation).. I was trying out various other alternatives for our application...Looking at Seam ..it seemed perfect fit for our session managment issues ...
