you use one and the same actionhandler for assignment, actionhandler and controller? Is that on purpose? afaik (cannot check now) they should implement different interfaces and that you didn't. components.xml, pages.xml, and faces-config.xml go in your war's WEB-INF directory. The ejb-jar-xml goes in your war's META-INF directory. The seam.properties files needs to go into the module that has the seam component class files. See the Seam examples ... provides a good overview. [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - classpath problems loading plugins deployed outside ear

Hi there, I have an application that loads a class at runtime. This class implements an interface. I packaged an deployed my app in a ear file, which contains the interface. The implementation of this interface is contained in an external jar file. I want to make the jar file containing the implementation available to my application, but I don't want to package it within the ear file, because I want to swap implementations without having to rebuild the whole application. Is it something possible? I tried to read every documentation available, but I couldn't find a solution. If I deploy the implementation jar in server/default/lib, then I get java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError because the interface is not visible. Thomas, can you fix the JSF Facelet bridge? I gave you the fix (a few additional lines of code) and rename the jar to something meaningful instead of jsf-example.jar? Facelets should work within and outside the portal not in just one or the other, the instance of check and referral to the parent method fixes the problem neatly. I would vote for getting AJAX4JSF working correctly first meeting a non-existent standard second.
