Sorry but this is just broken. If you had a database schema at all integrity constraints would be enforced. So unless you use MySQL (and a rather old version) this could not happen. Nope, I don't think you're doing anything wrong :) JBoss 4.0.x and 4.2 don't support injection in servlets. Very helpful, thanks! I use JavaService to run JBoss as a Windows service. [JBossWS] - Using wstools, how to reference non standrad mapping file in

Hey all. Using JBoss 4.04, I'm trying to create a jar to store all our web service generated classes and the jaxrpc mapping files; all of which are generated from the wsdl using wstools. This works beautifully if I generate the mapping file as "jaxrpc-mapping.xml" because this is discovered by default, but when I try a unique xml name, and use the jboss 'ServiceFactoryImpl' to specify this file when consuming the web service, I can't find the file. Even worse, it seems like the URL path starts from the jboss/bin folder- how would I tell the system to access an xml file inside a jar file from outside the relative jar? Has anyone been able to do this? I assume since the 'ServiceFactoryImpl' class seems to have been created solely for this purpose that there is indeed a way. Any help would be greatly appreciated- thanks. Thanks for your replies. I did use seam gen, so I will take a look at it. I have one more question about the documentation you pointed me at. How does the Local Entity Manager get declared and created? This is normally done with the persistence.xml files with JNDI, right? But how is it done locally inside Eclipse? In the documentation it shows this: @Configuration(beforeTestClass=true) | public void init() | { | emf = Persistence.createEntityManagerFactory("myResourceLocalEntityManager"); | } In the code snippet above where and how is "myResourceLocalEntityManager" declared/created? Is it in an xml file config file, or something else?
