[JBoss Seam] - Re: Seam can't parse pages.xml without JBoss.com?

Also on a similar topic, what about WEB-INF/faces-config.xml and java.sun.com? My application always spends a few seconds grabbing the dtd/schema on start up or longer if the website is down/very slow (until I mapped java.sun.com to 127.0.0.1)! [JBoss Seam] - Exception handling with @HttpError not working

My Exception class: | @ApplicationException(rollback=true) | @HttpError (errorCode=HttpServletResponse.SC_NOT_FOUND) | public class PageNotFoundException extends Exception { | | | /** Creates a new instance of PageNotFoundException */ | public PageNotFoundException () { | super ("Page not found"); | } | } | In web.xml | <error-page> | <error-code>404</error-code> | <location>/pages/error/error404.xhtml</location> | </error-page> | Instead I get a 500 error. Why is this not working? Any ideas? I use Seam 1.2.1 on JBoss 4.0.5. I don't have any other problems with my application. [JBoss Seam] - Seam mail does not restore FacesContext properly

I noticed that after rendering a Seam mail which failed (email address not entered), redirects - using Redirect.instance() - had the string 'null' stuck on the front of them. It turns out to be two problems: 1) UIMessage does not call MailFacesContextImpl.stop() if an exception is thrown in UIMessage.renderChildren Fix: | @Override | public void encodeChildren(FacesContext context) throws IOException | { | try { | JSF.renderChildren(FacesContext.getCurrentInstance(), this); | } catch (Exception e){ | MailFacesContextImpl.stop(); | throw new FacesException(e); | } | } | 2) MailExternalContextImpl.getRequestContextPath can return null. Further I don't understand the need for this to return anything other than the delegate's context path, as it doesn't appear to be used anywhere. Hi I've just gotten the GPD source and am having some issues. It builds fine but I dont see any of the context menus (like 'add action' when the user right clicks on a transition). I looked at the plugin.xml and the popupMenus and propertyPages extension point is commented out. If i 'un-comment' these extension points I do see the context menus and the property pages but I get an error when they open up : Plug-in org.jbpm.gd.jpdl.ui was unable to load class org.jbpm.gd.jpdl.ui.properties.JpdlElementGeneralPropertyPage. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong. Why not change the hibernate config for this? IT has the option to create-if-not-exists, and even an 'update-if-not up-to-date' Search the hibernate site for this.
