So far the same error appears, in 4.2.0.CR2 now :( The solution offered here does not work. I wonder whether nobody is interested in this subject. If a deployment create failed, the deployment wasn't destroyed and would linger on. A deployment create fails when something breaks during parsing of the descriptor and annotations. the package of complex parameters needs to be specified per java package within a package-info.java file: see http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=103352 JBossWS 1.2.x generates buggy wsdl files, though unless http://jira.jboss.com/jira/secure/ManageAttachments.jspa?id=12335583 is fixed (scheduled for version 2.0.0 now). Although the wsdl files are not correct, clients generated with .net 2.0 and axis 1.4 tend towork at least when the parameter typ names are unique without looking at their package names. The client stub generators are intelligent enough to remember the correct package names then. The only thing that I think I did differently from you is that I didn't use JEMS to create a portal installation - I just created 4.0.5 with ejb3 profile. I can't figure out what I did differently from you - maybe you used a different source for 2.6CR2 than the JBoss website download? Anyway, I appreciate you looking into this with me. Ok, I think I get the idea. Are there any limitations on threads created by the MBean? Can the MBean interact with the rest of the EJB3 components using regular ejb3 bean injections and transaction management, or everything will have to go through JNDI?
