[EJB 3.0] - Entity verstion increases after loading

I have several entities in my persistence unit. All of them has version attribute. When I load one of them it's version number increases even if I do not do any updates. Other entities loads without such updates. Why version number can increase after loading an entity? Please don't take the DAOs in the wiki example as a reference :) They have been done very quick and dirty and will be replaced at some point when I know how many/which DAO methods I really need. btw the seam eclipse tools aren't terribly interesting at this point. I develope with eclipse wtp (just for the server controls, as I'm using a seam-gen project structure), and haven't found anything of particular seam value in the other plugins. I'm definitely looking forward to the seam-enhanced JBoss/exadel plugins though, targeted for this summer. Thanks Pete, I did not see any examples of this in the reference apps so I didn't know if this was frowned upon as a bad architecture or was simply not possible. So you are saying I can use the TransactionalSeamPhaseListener in an EJB container? I know the transactions are dealt with a little differently, but I should not notice a difference from my standpoint?
