Simon, I've had the same experience - eventually drilling all the way down to the hibernate query to figure out what I was going to get from this frequently-used call or one similar to it (I don't remember). [Clustering/JBoss] - Re: Session Replication - Concurrency Problems?

1) I am moving from mod_proxy_ajp back to mod_jk tonight so after than I can be more sure of sticky sessions working because I know they work for sure in mod_jk. I know they are not working correctly now, although I have it setup just like the Wiki explains (http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=UsingMod_proxyWithJBoss). I have this in my configuration: | ProxyPass /ATS balancer://bmcluster stickysession=JSESSIONID lbmethod=bytraffic nofailover=Off But subsequent requests are getting distributed between server A and B. 2) The system is not under load at all, but I see your point. I originally setup REPL_ASYNC with StickySession because latency wasnt a consideration. I totally understand why the message is beging generated and I see 2 possible solutions a) Get Sticky Sessions working properly with REPL_ASYNC b) Use REPL_SYNC without sticky sessions Do you concur? If you edited run.bat, I hope that the edited line read: set JAVA_OPTS=... Without the "set" it is ignored. (Since your original post did not say which OS you were using I had to guess, so I guessed Linux.) You say you are getting an error. What error are you getting? You must have a service referencing "jboss.mq:service=DestinationManager" somewhere in your config otherwise you won't get that exception. Without looking at your install first hand it's hard for me to diagnose what has happened. And yes, it does work out of the box, we test it before each release. [JBoss Seam] - pages.xml, pagename.page.xml precedence

Is the use of pages.xml and [pagename].page.xml mutually exclusive? I am converting a seam project in Eclipse over to a new project structure built using the seam-gen tool. The seam gen tool uses individual page.xml files rather than one single pages.xml file. What are the advantages of doing this? If I add a pages.xml file to the seam project, where do I add this to the configuration? P.S. I had trouble searching for an answer to this, but if anyone knows where the seam documentation with regards to the Pages.xml vs. pagename.page.xml please let me know. Thanks. [JBoss Seam] - JBoss Federated SSO, JAAS, and Seam

I am trying to implement JBoss Federated SSO using the standard Tomcat loginConfig.xml and JAAS. I have a Stacked login configuration, that uses the standard LdapLoginModule to authenticate, and a simple database sql select to obtain the roles. I am trying to use the standard Seam RuleBasedIdentity to accomplish the login. This works fine in a non SSO environment. What I have not been able to do is implement an SSO environment. The Seam RuleBasedIdentity does so much for me, I don't want to completely abandon it. Does anyone have a suggestion or example as to how to implement Federated SSO via a Seam RuleBasedIdentity? [EJB 3.0] - Setting jndi-name in jboss.xml without ejb-jar.xml

Hi there, as promised for EJB3 I am trying to get rid of ejb-jar.xml. I have a problem when trying to set jndi-name of my EJBs in jboss.xml I deploy the same EJBs in different apps and I used to set different jndi names in 2.1 EJBs in jboss.xml. Doing so I am getting the following error: org.jboss.deployment.DeploymentException: Error in jboss.xml for Bean Annotation: found in jboss.xml but not in ejb-jar.xml do I need a ejb-jar.xml file if I use jboss.xml? I've tried to copy and paste old 2.1 EJBs ejb-jar.xml into my EJB3 ejb-jar.xml, but then jboss understands them as 2.1 EJBs and not EJB3, even setting the correct doctype and xml schema in the ejb-jar file. (Anyway, what I want is not to use at all ejb-jar.xml) Thanks for any help. I am running into the exact same issue and I do have the JBOSS_HOME environment variable set. Any other suggestions? I know this response is coming some time after the original post but I am stuck with the same problem and could use some help on this one.
