You don't need to do anything manually. If you create a new seam-gen project using "seam new-project", everything is set up exactly right. Just reproduce that structure in your existing project. [JBoss Seam] - bind data to process

Hi, I was reading the book jboss seam power and simplicity beyond java ee, and in chapter 18 a very simple jbpm process is showed. At a certain point it is said that, a better approach would be to use entity beans instead of pojos. How can I do that? Can I use @Intercept(InterceptionType.NEVER) @Scope(ScopeType.BUSINESS_PROCESS) @Entity @Table(name="tickets") in the same object? Should I do that? I doesn´t seam to me that I should. Which would be the right way to bind an entity bean to a jbpm process using seam? What are the versions of your JDK and JVM? During a compiler course we ran into this error message a lot when trying to run our "hand-crafted" .class files on some JVMs (though not others). Seems that the JVMs check for more than just the major/minor version numbers in the class file. Maybe related? [JBoss Seam] - EntityHome problem

I have a problem using the framework and EntityHome class. My page parameter is not set in the EntityHome on link click and therefore no entity instance is loaded into the EntityHome class. Anything I'm missing? You may want to try this in your backing bean: design a method which takes the widgetId as parameter. The Seam enhanced EL can take parameter for backing bean method calls, so it really does not matter whether you use it pages.xml or jpdl files. That is great, why would they make a major change betwen 3.2.3 and 3.2.8? 3.2.3 has javax.servlet.jar in two locations and then 3.2.8 got rid of them, and has a different jar now? This seems like a major change to add to a patch version. The file is called goals.xml If I call it directly from the browser, I get the unprocessed xml. If I call it with goals.seam, I get a 404 error. If I rename goals.xml to goals.xhtml, it gets processed by facelets and returns the correct data. Why does a .xml file work in the blogexample, and not in my project?
