[Management, JMX/JBoss] - Can't see any notification in jConsole

Hi Folks, Now that I'm able to connect to the JMX-agent of JBoss via jConsole, I have another issue. It seems as if JBoss doesnt send any notifications from its default MBeans. I can see the "heartbeat" notifications from the snmp-adaptor that I configured, but no other notifications though I subscribed to all. I'm especially interested in seeing a notification when deploying something. Is there anything I might forgot to configure? If so, why can we override this method? SeamTest.NonFacesRequest class doesn't support applyRequest(), processValidations() and updateModelValues(). Why supports invokeApplication()? [Beginners Corner] - Setting BASIC authentication for web console

Hi All, I am trying to set up BASIC authentication for my web console as per the http://docs.jboss.com/jbossas/guides/j2eeguide/r2/en/html_single/#d0e2129 and DatabaseServerLoginModule. I want to integrate with existing sybase db's user/privilage table. The war file is bundled into ear file. when i browse http://localhost:8080/p5admin, the authentication dialogue box does not pop-up for the given url pattern. What could be missing??
