We have the same issues.
We send many JMS messages and JBoss fails with OutOfMemory Exception.

[JBoss Seam] - howto display the an enum object internationalized

Hi,
i have some trouble displaying an enum item internationalized. i look for something like that:
<h:outputText value="#{messages[enumObject]}"/>

| or

| <h:outputText value="#{messages[enumObject]}">
| <s:convertEnum/>
| </outputText>
while
enumObject is a valueBinding to a corresponing getter method which returns an enum object.
both ways didn't work for me. does anyone know a way to realize it?

[Management, JMX/JBoss] - Lookup Singleton MBean

Hi all,
I followed the configuration as specified on the OnJava.com (http://www.onjava.com/pub/a/onjava/2003/08/20/jboss_clustering.html) to configure a singleton MBean within the cluster env.
However, i have problem on locating the singleton MBean. Below is my excerpt of my code on getting the mbean.

| AServiceMBean mbean = (AServiceMBean)MBeanProxyExt.create(AServiceMBean.class, mbeanName, server);

The isMasterNode status will be true if the mbean is started as the singleton.
On node 1, i tried to run the code and the above code stated it is a master node. On node 2, i tried the same thing, but i can't locate the singleton MBean cos the status i get is showng false.
Seem like the MBean i am getting is from the Node2 MBeanServer instead of the Node1 mbean server.
Is the way i perform the look up wrongly?

You will notice that even though the document you are reading comes with 2.6, it is really written for 2.4.x (check some of the text at the start of the document). Hence the confusion. 2.6 is after all a candidate release and usually the documentation is the last thing that gets updated. Therefore, if you are just starting out, I recommend using 2.4.1, at it has accurate documentation. Unless you are willing to put up with discrepancies as you found and learn the Portal on your own.

[JBoss Portal] - Re: JBoss Portal 2.6 and EJB 3.0

I usually download the source for JBossAS 4.0.5 and build it with a 1.5 JDK - it creates both the regular binary and one that contains EJB3 support. I have successfully installed the Portal into the EJB3 version using the standard Portal installation instructions. I did this with Portal 2.4.1, but it should work with 2.6.
