[JBoss Seam] - Session already invalidated

Hello everybody!!! -------------------------------- My environment: 1. OS: Gentoo Linux x86 (x86-64). 2. JDK: 6.0 (SUN or BEA). 3. AS: JBoss 4.2.0 4. JBoss SEAM 1.2.1.GA 5. IDE: Eclipse 3.3 RC3 --------------------------------- ?ase: I have EAR. It consist of many web and ejb applications. One of all applications use SEAM. This application work ok. an actor can be just an Id to a real group as well. You do not need to put every individual member of a real group into the pooled actor-id's. That way it is not per task. But you resolve membership of users in advance. [JBoss Seam] - Re: Session context variable missing

An update to my use case. When I hit the browser refresh, it works as expected, the last selected Category stays selected and the bullet image shows up next to it. The problem occurs when I navigate back to home.xhtml from any other page, the currentCategory is displayed, but the bullet image is not being rendered. Actually, this concern is legitimate. I can confirm that both of you are correct. If you run the seam examples, they work perfectly. If you use your own setup with jsf-facelets-1.1.11.jar, then you get an error when trying to use the bare <ui:insert />. Apparently, seam has a modified (or just alternate) version of Facelets other than the latest stable 1.1.11 version. Does anyone know which version of facelets is bundled with Seam? I can assure you that if you take the jsf-facelets-1.1.11.jar file and put it into the seam distribution, the examples using s:decorate with templates will not work. Yes. s:convertEntity uses an SMPC / Seam managed transactions to reload the entity from the PC. Unless you have a LRC in which you previously loaded the entity the reloaded entity won't be equal - you have to use ID equality (see http://hibernate.org/109.html).
