Hi, i just read the installation guide for 1.3 and noticed a couple of errors in the doco that you may want to change (sorry if you are already aware) The following points are found in section 5.1.5: the first point specifies the file $JBOSS_CONFIG/jms-ds.xml but this should be $JBOSS_CONFIG/deploy/jms-ds.xml the second point specifies the path $JBOSS_CONFIG/config/standardjboss.xml but this should be $JBOSS_CONFIG/conf/standardjboss.xml the third point specifies the path $JBOSS_CONFIG/config/jboss-service.xml but this should be $JBOSS_CONFIG/conf/jboss-service.xml hope that's somewhat helpful. - toby View the original post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=4058198#4058198 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=4058198

[Messaging, JMS & JBossMQ] - JbossMQ Topic/Subscribers in a cluster

We have a topic/subscription model JMS system where we have messages that have multiple consumers. We have recently been working to get the system running in a clustered environment using the JMS-HA. The problem is that our messaging architecture worked fine when we were only a single node, but now the topic subscription model is working as it should and sending messages to all the consumers in our cluster. Is there a way to specify to only have the master node as the only consumer? Hi, anybody solved this issue ? I have the same error in jboss 4.2.0 GA. Accessing a sybase database through JDBC is working but accessing a (different) db in the same sybase server using hibernate causes this error. The code is running well in JBoss 4.0.4 GA but causes the error in JBoss 4.2.0 GA Any ideas ? I tried to profile the memory with various tool but I can't see anything. I've tried to use jrockit and set it with 1gb newsize... The problem is still there. It's somethink like if a process on "timer" starts eating all the memory. Does the default configuration of jboss have some process that starts to do something after 13 hours of boot ? Or does it exist some process that starts on a specific condition ? If i restart jboss the problem is solved for some hours and then it comes back. So it can't be something related to the applications client, it must be something else! It's not a memory leak because the system keeps running and the occupied memory varies (it's not always growing). Any hint ? I had a look at the examples but I didn't find anything looking exactly like my issue. My purpose was to, very quickly, add a new search parameter. Maybe the way I do this is inappropriate but it seemed to me logical : I can search easily for colList.col.name (a string), so why is it difficult to search for colList.col.typecol (an entity) ? In fact, I was able to search for colList.col.typecol, but I was not able to click on the link so as to order the result because the typecol was then lost. I had this problem too and I had to use: ((EntityManagerImpl) manager.getDelegate()).getSession() But it was an ejb3 project, not a Seam one.
