so the Actor objects are removed from the set, but not from the DB, correct? you have CascadeType.ALL set, which would only delete the Actor objects if you deleted the parent Role object. So, yes, if you also want them removed from the DB you'll have to call em.remove(..); within the for loop. if you're using Hibernate, another option is to set the Hibernate specific Delete_Orphan cascade type. Then you're Actor objects will automatically be deleted from the DB when you remove them from the parent. Hi, I have tried different configs and watched the amount of Data transfered. I did it with CompressionMarshaller, Tomcat Connectors compress=force and none. I agree that initCredentialsFromCookie shouldn't be private. You might open a JIRA issue to request that. In the meantime, try overriding the @Create method to call your own version of init. [JBoss jBPM] - Task assignment #2

How to assign task to child group? For example, user u is a member of group p (with p_type group type), which is a parent for group c(with p_type group type). So, expression like previous->group(p_type)->group(c_type) looks correct for me, but not for jbpm identity. What am I dooing wrong? And how to use paren-child relations in jbpm identity groups properly?
