[JBoss Seam] - Drools (JBoss Rules) Hibernate Query and EntityManager

Drools rules can use Hibernate queries to perform checks against the database. They look something like this: $cheese : Cheese() from session.createQuery("select cheese from Products where ...").setProperties( {"key1" => "value1", "key2" => "value2" }).list() How does the session get passed to Drools and is it possible to pass Seam's EntityManager in a similar fashion? Has anyone used this feature of Drools with Seam? Thanks, Damian. I must add - sometimes the queried list would get quite big (say, if it were the audit record that were queried, it might be measured in millions of records), so it would be lazy-paged in this case, and re-executing such queries on every page action wouldn't be a good idea... Does anyone have a complete example which shows how to extend Identity? The only one I have seen was posted here, which I used as a model. Apparently not complete. I need to override this functionality. I need to prevent the error message from being global and make it SEVERITY_ERROR. Page- or event-scoped query would be recreated (and reexecuted) for each and every action performed on the page, including record navigation/selection. My idea was to minimize database hits by caching the queried list in conversation scope, only updating it when I know its state would change, i.e. when a record gets updated/inserted/deleted. [JBoss Seam] - Seam version vs. hibernate version

I have been upgrading seam and have now moved on to 1.2.1 GA. Has there been any hibernateall.jar upgrades since say version 1.1? Would you advise against upgrading to the later 3.2.4.sp1 for example. I notice there are a lot of bugfixes between that and the version that I am currently on. Your user should keep role User on top of the new one. The PortcletContentEditorInstance is only visible to the roles User and Admin. [JBoss Portal] - IPC and JSF

Hi @ll, IPC is finally running but i've got a new problem. Is there a possibility 2 communicate between a "normal" portlet and a jsf portlet with ajax ?! I want to search a customer, get a list of some customers and click one special customer 2 be displayed in a new portletwindow, which is written in jsf. I only got the jsf-management-bean which is not implemented with the GenericPortlet. I tried to add the innerListener but that wasn't successful. So how 2 implement such an IPC ?!
