[Beginners Corner] - EJB3 reference in 4.2.0.GA

I installed 4.2.0.GA along with JBossIDE Beta2 with Eclipse. I have setup the JBoss App server from the IDE and have no problem starting/stopping. When I use the IDE to create an EJB3 project then a stateless session bean I'm getting a "cannot be resolved" for the import javax.ejb.stateless (and remote). If I look in the JBoss EJB3 Libraries and find javax.ejb there is no stateless??? The jar javax.ejb looks like the old ejb 2 jar?? Any ideas what I did wrong on the install? I have a question. when I type ant deploy under seam's example directory, it creates two new directory called 'build' and 'jboss-4.2.0.GA'. I am wondering about this 'jboss-4.2.0.GA' directory, is it in the correct place? like under seam's example directory or is it not? [JBoss Seam] - A newbie's question

Dear all, I cannot deploy a seam project which is created by seam-gen, I didn't changed anything, after the project is created, I tested immediately, but a HTTP 404 was responded. This is my configuration: SEAM version : 1.2.1.GA JBoss version: JEMS installer 1.2.0 GA and 1.1.0 patch1 I've installed with an all configuration, so I think that the EJB3 has been installed. IDE: Netbeans with SEAM plugin The message in the jboss console shows that the project has been deployed successfully, but I'm wondering I start the jboss in all configuration, but the netbeans deploy the ear file in C:\jboss-4.0.4.GA\server\default\deploy\ folder, does it matter? Can anyone help me? I don't know what is going on. btw, the log seems to be fine, no any exception has been thrown. Thanks dsteffy for your instructions.. It sure was a time saver for me.. I had to make the following changes to compile the Tutorial.. Added jboss-j2ee.jar & jsp-api.jar to "build.classpath" & commented out //import org.jboss.ws.jaxrpc.ServiceImpl; within WSClient.java (unused code) Hope this info helps someone.. [EJB 3.0] - Define context for web services

How do I define the web context for SLSB that I expose using @WebService? I'd like to be able to do this using deploy-time configuration or at worst build time configuration. An annotation does not allow me to have different deployments of the same code in the same app server - example dev and staging web services running on same app server need to have different URLs to the web service.
