Yes, I want to prevent flushing of the persistence context. I will give Seam-managed PC a try. But this raises another question. I am leaning towards keeping all entities objects contained in sfsbs rather than outjecting them into the conversation scope. If the sfsb is passivated, will the entity be detached from the seam-managed PC? Thanks again. Yes, I agree that what I try to describe span multiple patterns, and i think it is important to refer to them when you model a process. As you say, it would be a great if there were testcases that illustrate how to implement patterns :-) I guess the use-case is not really that important in this case, its more of a technical matter: 1. How does concurrently (and persisted) active sub-tokens react when the root token and its process instance reach end state? 2. Elko, I have found couple of things in the cluster. JBOSS by default it uses UDP protocol for clustering and UDP protocol has a restriction on send and receive. I initially had problems because the war file which i use is around 100MB and i had problems sending it over to the other clusters. I used TCP protocol and it was click..boom ...way too fast. As part of clustering, I did 2 things modified the following 2 files 1. tc5-cluster-service.xml 2. cluster-service.xml I commented out the UDP protocol and uncommented the TCP protocol information, gave the ip's of the boxes which i needed in the cluster and started them back and each node was able to recognize the other. [Installation, Configuration & DEPLOYMENT] - IP number change prevents JBoss from running correctly

We are in the process of moving a number of machines into a new DMZ. This change requires us to change the IP number of the machines in question to allow the correct broadcast/propagation. Last weekend, I attempted to do this with the production server that houses JBoss. When I changed the IP number, and changed the cables out, JBoss would not run on the machine any longer. After clearing the work and temp directories, and trying multiple times, our users were getting ancy, so I plugged in the old cable and put in the old IP...and JBoss came up fine. Any suggestions as to why JBoss would be doing this? We're running 4.04GA on a single deployment. The server itself is running Fedora Core 5 (upgrade to 7 will take place after the server move). We only have about 7 apps running on the server at this time, though we have major ones in development. Thanks! I'm no expert but in src\java.jbpm.test\org\jbpm\context\exe\VariableQueryDbTest.java there is an example of a query to another type of value. Granted it does not use org.jbpm.context.exe.VariableInstance but org.jbpm.context.exe.variableinstance.XXX directly which is probably not what you are hoping for. Jbpm has quite some code to handle the mapping of variables. I guess that's not a good sign. Maybe in a hibernate specific forum you'll have better luck. Hi, I think I have the same problem thus maybe I can help to formulate it. I use javassist in an eXist extension. This extension comes as a jar package automatically loaded by eXist. Let com.Foo.class com.Bar.class 2 classes contained in the package myCom.jar If I call in Foo ClassPool.getDefault().get("com.Bar") I got an javassist.NotFoundException: com.Bar. Nevertheless when I run eXist form inside an IDE and providing Foo and Bar as part of the build path of eXist I have no problem...
