[Security & JAAS/JBoss] - Authentication using Connector and AJP

Hi, We have been having an authentication issue when using the mod_jk connector with IIS and AJP for tomcat within JBoss 4.0.3SP1. Using HTTP Basic Authentication, we can see that it is active by visiting the address http://x.x.x.x:8080/servlet and noticing that the name of the realm is displayed and authentication succeeds. However, if we visit http://x.x.x.x/servlet, the name of the realm is not displayed and authentication always fails. Is there additional configuration that must take place when using the mod_jk connector? [Tomcat, HTTPD, Servlets & JSP] - Cookies lost when included JSP file used

The following file creates a cookie when called alone, but when this file is included in another JSP, the cookie doesn't survive. Tomahawk have function t:saveState to try to enables you to persist beans to keep information on eack pages between tabPanel. May I know if there are any similar functions on seam or ajax4jsf? of couse I can put like <h:inputText size="50" value="#{person.name}" > <a4j:support event="onkeyup" reRender="rep"/> </h:inputText> on each inputText to persist each field at the beans. but it look stuipt. What you posted is a report indicating that something has failed, but it does not provide enough information to determine the error. Earlier in the console output there should be a stack trace that identifies the error, please post that. Also, post the contents of your ejb-jar.xml and jboss.xml. And state which EJB spec you are following (2.1, 3.0). Out of curiosity, why did you initially ask a generic question instead of posting the error that you ran into? [JBoss Seam] - Re: Seam + Eclipse

I use MyEclispe and deploy the software, without ant, directly to the server. I have posted previously how to do this but can put together a small presentation and a download of of a Seam2 , Jboss 4.2 skeleton app that allows for exploded deployment. I do incluse an ant script with it but its very basic. In short here is what you do: Create a J5EE EAR type project in MyEclipse... This actually produces three projects XXX (the ear) XXXEJB (the jar) XXXWar (the war) Open up the ear that is deployed by the booking example in SEAM 2. Copy over all the jars and files to the relevant projects. Bingo... go MyEclipse->Add and Remove Project Deployments and pint it at your server. Run the server from within MyEclipse EASY! and no Ant Script. If you change most files the server will just keep running... you usually have to re-start the server if you change some config files.
