Thanks Pete. Will the new version be propogated to the JBoss site? Or not until the next release? It's not a biggie, I just turned off Eclipses' XSD validations.. ROTFL - I've never had a video posted to look at before! Nice idea ;) Hmm, can you try with CVS. I did fix a bug recently that might be responsible for this. If not, can you stick a breakpoint on getValue in org.jboss.seam.ui.component.UISelectItems and see *why* it's not refreshing the value. Actually it doesn't work. It appears that MethodContextInterceptor is unwrapping the component and placing it in the method context so when you attempt to inject SomeClass it is an unwrapped instance. This is also going to cause problems if you try to do: | @Name("someClass") | public class SomeClass { | | @In SomeClass someClass; | | public void createSomething() { | someOtherClass.createSomething(); | } | | @Asynchronous | public void sendAnEmail() { | //Send an email asynchronously | } | } | | @Name("someOtherClass") | public class SomeOtherClass { | | @In SomeClass someClass; | | public void createSomething() { | someClass.sendAnEmail(); | } | } | Is this MethodContextInterceptor necessary for all component types or just Session Beans?
