Craig- As already mentioned, 1.0.1.GA is *not* the latest in the 1.0 series. Also, 1.2.0.GA is *not* the latest 1.2 release (1.2.0.SP2 is). The latest GA release is 1.3.0.GA, and 1.4.0.CR2 will be out shortly followed shortly after by 1.4.0.GA. We simply do not have the time to give free support on the forums for every old release. (If you had a support contract we would do this) Just to clarify GA = General Availability = Production release CR = Candiate release - these preceed a GA release. SP = Service pack - used after a GA to apply important fixes. Yes, I am using facelets, but am getting the error I mentioned. Do I have something set up incorrectly? I thought I followed the directions on the jboss site. I think I just typed ant from the 1.2.1 GA directory and it said that it was successful. I don't know what else I was supposed to do. I used the generate - entities from the 1.2.1 seam version. I have spent so much time trying to figure this out. Maybe I am not using the seam version 1.2.1 Thanks for any help. [JBoss Seam] - Client-side Seam remoting calls from a static web page outsi

I'd like to embed client-side Seam remoting calls on a static web page outside of my Seam application. I have all the code for the "Hello World" Remoting sample application working fine. All the Seam remoting calls work properly when the page that serves it comes from within the application. For example, the client-side remoting code works when it's on this page: localhost:8080/a/myPage.seam But the same client-side remoting code does not work when the page that serves it is outside the application. For example: www.somesite.com/StaticPage.html I get the following error message: "There was an error processing your request. Error code: 404 Note: I've already changed the relative references on the client side code to properly access the required remoting Javascript resources. In other words: On the page within the application: <script type="text/javascript" src="seam/resource/remoting/resource/remote.js"></script> | <script type="text/javascript" src="seam/resource/remoting/interface.js?helloAction"></script> On the static page outside the application: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://localhost:8080/a/seam/resource/remoting/resource/remote.js"></script> | <script type="text/javascript" src="http://localhost:8080/a/seam/resource/remoting/interface.js?helloAction"></script> Is there anything else I need to configure to make this work? I'm glad to hear about the time line :-). Here's what I mean by templates. With Exadel Studio, I can save any project as a "template". Then, I can create a New project using that template.
