I feel pretty strongly that a slick, AJAX-enabled sortable, pageable table is a must for RF. And not just because that is precisely what I need! It is a pretty compelling demand among clients, and it has become a fairly common idiom because of the DataGrid and GridView in .Net. In fact, it might even behoove the RF team (or I suppose any JSF component team) to take a look at the .Net widgets and come up with something comparable yet better. That could go a long way towards addressing some of the criticisms lobbed at the JSF side from the .Net side. Hi, we have run into another problem. Assuming I have the http config setup and it works fine. In 4.0.x I could set the -Ddefault.client.bindurl=servlet://myserver.de/servlet-invoker/ServerInvoke | rServlet | when starting the jboss server (run.sh), so that the client would call this url, instead of the | <attribute name="InvokerLocator">servlet://myserver.de:8080/servlet-invoker/ServerInvokerServlet</attribute> | configured in the ejb3.deployer/jboss-service.xml Now it seems that with 4.2.x this is ignored or the param has changed, and since the client trys to communicate with port 8080 which he cant reach, I can not communicate anymore. Have the parameters changed or there handling? I do this validation manually and add a message to that control if the value already exists. I am not using Hibernate Validator at all. In every action that requires validation, I do this. This handles all complex cases that I have come across. Does anyone know if it is possible to bind a method of a seam component directly to the view for validation? If I could specify the method to use to validate and put it on the input field, I would like this to be tied together automatically. Is this possible and could someone point me to an example? [JBoss jBPM] - Version compatibility issues between JBPM 3.1.3 and JBoss AS

Hi, I am trying to run JBPM 3.1.3 on JBoss AS 4.2 GA.Is this compatible?The custom processes created were deployed correctly on the preconfigured AS.I am trying to acecess the same process stored in an seperate Mysql database via a seam(2.0) application but unaable to do so.I am getting an error when creating a new context that a particular hbm file cannot be mapped.Exception is org.hibernate.InvalidMappingException: Could not parse mapping document from resource org/jbpm/command/TaskInstanceEndCommand.hbm.xml Please help as i have been struggling to get this up and running for a couple of days now. Firstly are the versions compatible.If so why am i getting the errors. Please help!!!! [JBoss Seam] - SMPC and explicit transactions

I have seen many threads on the topic but none seem to solve this issue the "right way". I am currently using SMPC for the bulk of my application. I also have a background process which retrieves a Map from application scope and persists/merges the objects inside of it. This is in a completely separate thread. To do the saving, I need to be able to use transactions explicitly. Naturally, the transaction is not available because there is no Seam context. Has anyone an example of this? Thanks. Yes, jsf-impl is the correct file. Make sure it's listed as part of WAR libraries (not EAR, so you don't run into classloading problems), and then override the class in WEB-INF/classes. Should work.
