at the end of the Fork.execute() , a new execution context is instanciate on the child token, which is use in your action handler. I think it's possible that's why you can't save the process instance, try to save your process instance in the start-state or before the fork. In Jboss Portal 2.0 i can use the url like http://127.0.0.1/index.html?ctrl:id=window.default.mywindow&ctrl:type=ren..., , but not in Portal 2.6. What i do? Thanks. Looks to me like somehow you've got commons-el in the stack there when we've always used the RI with Seam. The security functions are tied into Seam using a custom FunctionMapper, which, I would suspect, is not getting called because of commons-el being in the picture. [JBoss jBPM] - What's the difference betw. jbpm and jbpm-jpdl?

What exactly is the difference between the "jbpm" packages and the "jbpm-jpdl" packages? (cf. http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=70542 ) Is "jbpm-jpdl" a successor/replacement of "jbpm", or will they be developed independently in the future? If one wants to start a new jBPM project from the scratch, should he or she choose "jbpm-jpdl" (because jbpm is going to be obsolete soon), or could "jbpm" be the right choice?
