i have analyzed this problem and this is caused by asynchronus transaction rollback. Well, my own reply is wrong, as I can see if I put some logging traces... My CustomAuthenticator knows that login page is /login.jsp and error one is /error.jsp. So I'm back to my first post ... I have seen similar errors: http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/tomcat-users/200201.mbox/%3CPine... They are using a previous version of tomcat, I'm testing with JBoss 3.2.4 which ships with Tomcat 5.0.26. [JBoss Seam] - Double authentication in different parts of a site

Hello, I ask for your help on an authentication procedure with seam. Users are in different tables (User and ExtraUser), I want make the difference beetween those two kind of users. So the login page have to be separated etc. My problem is the Identity component configured in component.xml. It refers to only 1 method and I would like to use separated Identity based components depending on the part of the application used (eg. User or ExtraUser login -and then- home page). Is that possible ? If yes please you tell me, I absolutely found nothing like that in the forum archives... 1) It doesn't mean anything to access a SLSB to be accessed concurrently - an SLSB holds no state outside of the method you are calling. Yes, you can have fields, but they might have data from previous uses of the bean, or none. [EJB 3.0] - Hibernate NamingStrategy

Hi I'm looking for a way to configure a naming strategy in a Hibernate Session factory (components.xml) The class org.jboss.seam.persistence.HibernateSessionFactory contains an attribute namingStrategy. But there is no xml element for this attribute. There is one for each of the other attributes, but not for namingStrategy <persistence:cfg-properties /> | <persistence:mapping-classes /> | <persistence:mapping-files /> | <persistence:mapping-jars /> | <persistence:mapping-packages /> | <persistence:mapping-resources /> Is there an other way to inject the naming strategy into the session factory? No, because the validation runs in the PROCESS VALIDATIONS JSF phase which runs before updating model values and invoking the action (needs to so you don't get invalid data on your model). If you want to understand Seam you need to understand the JSF lifecycle as well.
