[JBoss Seam] - SEAM 2 Beta - Webservices
by tuedl
Hi,
I am trying to run the WS with Seam 2 Beta and JBoss 4.2.1GA. With simple methods (only return a String) it works easily, but if I try to access some components or simply try to log in via the Identity.instance... it doesen t work. There is always the error: No active session context.
But how can I create an active session context? I thought this is done by seam..
Does anyone got the SeamBay-example running?
My WS from the seamBay-example:
| @WebMethod
| public boolean login(String username, String password) {
|
| Identity.instance().setUsername(username);
| Identity.instance().setPassword(password);
|
| if (Contexts.isSessionContextActive()) {
| Identity.instance().login();
| return Identity.instance().isLoggedIn();
| }
| return false;
| }
|
Here is the error:
|

[JBossWS] - Re: JBoss wstool generate incorrect WSDL file

I don't think you'll have .NET compatibility issues with collections, however if Richard perfomed some tests on this please add your opinion. Anyway, generally speaking, jbossws compliance with standards should offer high compatibility with other stacks.

Yes, it does. See @WebContext and its property 'authMethod'.

I would take a look at the samples that ship with jbossws sources. For example, see org.jboss.test.ws.jaxws.samples.context.WebServiceContextEJBTestCase.

[Installation, Configuration & DEPLOYMENT] - Re: Running Two Jboss as Windows Service
by sajithpp
"PeterJ" wrote : If I understand this correctly, you have two installations of JBoss AS, one at c:\jboss and the other at c:\jboss1. For both services, you are running the "default" configuration in their respective installations. That should work, provided that each uses its own port or host binding. For more information, see http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=ConfiguringMultipleJBossInstance....
Now i can run two jboss but iam getting this error on first (c:\jboss) server lo :
