[JBoss Seam] - Seam generated Eclipse project won't stop building

I've just used seam-gen (Beta 2) to generate a project. I opened the project in Eclipse and ran the default build target. That went fine. Thereafter, the build script ran itself every few seconds. I eventually figured out that to stop this I needed to disable the .exploded Builder in my Eclipse Project Properties editor. Hi ! I found out the answer by myself. Maybe someone else will find the answer useful: The default naming strategy does not regard the path thru the embedded classes to the actual entity column. Hibernate provides an alternativ naming strategy handler which can be activated in persistence.xml using the line: <property name="hibernate.ejb.naming_strategy" value="org.hibernate.cfg.DefaultComponentSafeNamingStrategy"/> Unfortunately this out of the box naming strategy class produces some SQL grammar (mysql) errors in my case. So I had to implement my own strategy, activated using the line above replaced with the class name by my own strategy class. This looks like a big hole in JSF and it has been discussed here recently. I need a solution for this as well. So the logic in JSF seems to be that some crappy Javascript starts searching for the "nearest" commandButton/Link when you press enter in a form and then invokes the other crap Javascript that submits the form. This is of course an unacceptable strategy, and we need a way to wire the action that is called when Enter is pressed into the form somehow. I'm trying to do the exact same thing and I also noticed that the round robin works if the client code is executed from another jvm. I see your solution is to disable IsLocalInterceptor and ClusteredIsLocalInterceptor in the ejb3-interceptors-aop.xml file. I see in the DTD that the interceptor scope can be PER_VM|PER_CLASS|PER_INSTANCE|PER_JOINPOINT|PER_CLASS_JOINPOINT and the default is PER_VM. What value should I change it to or what do you mean by disabling IsLocalInterceptor and ClusteredIsLocalInterceptor? There is "some" support for jax-ws in 4.2.1, but if you want full support you must upgrade the jbossws component to a 2.x (from 1.2.x). Ask in the webservices forum. Thanks Christian - I believe that URLs are not ISO-8859-1 either... I have finally found this here in the forum: "If you are using Tomcat or JBoss all you have to do is [...] set URIEncoding to whatever character encoding you are using for the tomcat Connector in the server.xml. The default encoding is ISO-8859-1 for Tomcat if not set explicitly. <Connector port="8080" ... URIEncoding="UTF-8" .../>" I did that and now I can use my UTF-8 encoded URL parameters directly without conversion from ISO-8859-1 to Unicode. Can someone please recommend a book that deals with these kind of configurations?
