[EJB 3.0] - wrong insert/delete order when updating record-set

I have a record with a OneToMany association. From this associated record-set a record is removed and added again, both records identified with the same key. When doing a merge, I get a Unique constraint violation, because EJB first tries to insert the new record. in fact it should first delete the old record, and after this insert the new record, avoiding the unique constraint violation. [JBoss Tools (users)] - Re: What happen to the Packaging Configuration in RHDS?

Hi, Rob. Thanks for replying. When I go into Packaging Archives, I choose "Enable Project Specific Settings", and then I click OK, I get a window that says: "Error has occurred. See error log for more details." I realize that this is a beta version, but what type of project is "Packaging Archives" valid on? In other words, the JBoss J2EE 1.4 project type is no longer available. Now, the IDE seems more like WebSphere Studio where you build the J2EE project in modules. The only thing is, with the old JBoss IDE packaging, an ant file was produced that could be editted or re-executed. So what is the project type we would use with "Packaging Archives" in RHDS? Does trying to activate packaging on the wrong project type produce the error that I am receiving? Thanks. Wow, no reply within 2 minutes and you declare an emergency. I hope my response is not too late and everyone is still alive. By definition, any question posted on these forums is neither urgent nor an emergency. These forums are user's forums where user's of the various JBoss technologies help each other out. They are not an official support mechanism, though Thomas and others on the Portal team graciously answer many of the questions posed. If you are in urgent need of support, RedHat and other companies will gladly provide you with a support contract for a fee. You can then get your urgent question answered promptly. I suggest that you spend some time reading the Portal documentation - it is very good. Also, here is a discussion on learning how to do portlet development: http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=88554. As far as the demo portlets go, those are sometimes in a state of flux and work on one combination of JBoss AS and Portal, and not on others. Please let me know how this works out for you. If you find it works well I'll look at altering seam-gen to do something similar. Thanks! Hallo, I use jboss 4.0.4GA and connect the client to a stateful session bean with InitialContext. I tried to set jnp.sotimeout and jnp.timeout in the jndi.properties on the client side, but it didn't work. [JBoss Seam] - "Seam's resource loaders"...
