the s:button/link does not call your action method if the form on the page contains validation errors. I've been struggling with this for over a day once. [Management, JMX/JBoss] - Jboss mbean server (vs) JVM Platform mbean server

Given that the requirements are tighter security and performance, can any one tell me the advantages of using jboss mbean server over jvm internal mbean server? Or, are they both same performance wise and security policy implementation wise?. Actually i want to deploy an mbean and have two options, either to use jboss mbean server or jvm's platform mbean server. I've to enable both local and remote access to the interfaces of the deployed mbean. I don't want to add the unnecessary overhead on memory by installing jboss , if i can get similar performance and security in jvm's platform mbean server. Any pointers will also help. Thanks. Hey Ronald, Thanks for your reply. You're right that the super process class loader isn't propagated to the sub process and I wasn't expecting that (also verified by looking at the source) since that would seriously mess up the versioning semantics. However, I posted precisely because I did include the the class the (sub) process class loader was complaining it couldn't find in the (sub) process archive which meant it should have been able to find it. But... It isn't a bug. I reproduced the problem when testing from within my IDE, created a self-contained archive that I could use when reporting the issue on BugZilla but, surprisingly, running the archive via the command line made the problem disappear. A little housecleaning of referenced jars on our integration server and the problem disappeared there as well. I really don't see how this could fix the problem and that worries me a little, but that's an investigation for another day. Hi, thanks for your patience :) Here is where I have problems, the cid still gets incremented (and doing my head in). Or at least I think so, pretty sure I tested this. Will make sure again tomorrow at work. I wonder what I've done wrong? And isn't it also a bit strange that the s:button/link don't call my action method? I bet this is going to be one of those problems where I've done something silly. Might be worth to do cleans once in a while if running eclipse, especially if you have changed the structure or library versions. Cleaning out the deploy and temp deployment directories in JBoss is sometimes useful, too.
