[Javassist user questions] - Modifying Bytecode inside of Jars

Hi, i got a simple question. I have set the classpool to a jar file and obtained a CtClass Object from it. I changed the bytecode of this class. Now how do i write it back into the jar file? When i use class.writeFile() without parameters it's not saved inside the jar. When i give a new location as parameter the modified classfile is saved correct to that place. But how do i overwrite the original classfile iside the jar? [JBoss Seam] - Example of Seam deployment to GlassFish/TopLink

Can anyone tell me where is the example application in "jboss-seam-2.0.0.GA" directory which demonstrates Seam deployment to GlassFish/TopLink? Also if any one has any example of Seam deployment to Tomcat6/TopLink which they can point me to? http://www.jboss.com/products/seam ... is this on purpose? The simplicity of Seam 1.0 will enable easy integration with the JBoss Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Java Business Integration (JBI) in the future. I know its true, but don't you want to change it to 2.0 or 2.x? or Seam 1.0 and higher? Eh not sure if its on purpose i knwo there is a 1.1 reference in the page as well. This is best explained with MainDeployer and Deployers example: Instead of having each Deployer to call | <install bean="MainDeployer" method="addDeployer"> | <parameter>this</parameter> | </install> | <install bean="MainDeployer" method="removeDeployer"> | <parameter>this</parameter> | </install> | You can just add this: | <bean name="MainDeployer" ...> | <incallback method="addDeployer"/> | <uncallback method="removeDeployer"/> | </bean> | The callback idea is to check the type of method's parameter - in this case Deployer interface - and when a matching bean (by type --> instance of) is installed/uninstalled, you execute this callback. So when a new Deployer bean is installed, it is automa(t|g)ically added to MainDeployer. Exchange MainDeployer with Employee and Deployer with Address, and there you go. ;-) All MC IoC xml elements have matching annotation support. In this case @Install/@Uninstall. I'm looking for a way to remove/add items on a list according to deployment/undeployment. It might be documented somewhere, but it wasn't obvious how to do it by looking at docs. Example: "You have a Bean Employee with Addresses. Employee will have add/remove methods for Address (addAddress(Address), removeAddress(Address))." As soon as Address is deployed, Employee would know about its list of Addresses. The simple way of doing this would be Adress to call Employee.add(this). But it would be better to do it automatically, so I don't need to trust users to do it. Is there an example similar to this?
