I have solved our problems today. We needed to change several things to make it work. 1) Start JBoss with the option "-b 0.0.0.0". Otherwise, JBoss only binds to localhost. This should usually give "connection refused" when doing remote JNDI through the server's real IP, but it didn't in our case, we just got naming errors. This might be due to network configuration and maybe because we're running under Linux VServer where localhost may have a differnt meaning than usual. 2) We accidentally were looking up in the java:-namespace. When doing this, the Context.PROVIDER_URL was silently ignored and generates no warnings or errors but does lookups locally. I was also told that it is a good idea to set jnp.disableDiscovery = true in the InitialContext environment to ensure that you get the server you're asking for and not a different one, if the server you asked for is unavailable. [Persistence, JBoss/CMP, Hibernate, Database] - Get a List from query but need a Set

Hello, In my JSF-Webapplication I want to use HashSets in my managedBeans. So it would be better to get Sets and not List from my EJBs.But if I understood it in the right way with the EntityManager.createQuery I only can get a List. (getResultList) Is there no possibility to get a Set? Thanks for your hints. Hello again, sorry, but this question is urgent. IÂ´ve already been trying several things and IÂ´m going mad with this. Is there really no way to "download" the servers public key to the client? In my opinion it should be easy to attach the servers certificate to the soap message. Should I try asking the security forum? Hi Billy, I think I have gotten your question. I am working on windows, so I can not get your question. Today I test it on Linux, I found a question like yours. Maybe because in linux we call ws command line to generate codes like this : wscommand -c "your classpath" .... but in linux eclipse console, we can not use " " for your classpath. should be like this: wscommand -c your classpath.....
