If you see such a pop-up, it indicates that someone has intentionally configured the application to be secure. So only restricted set of users can login to the application. If the jsps are part of an application deployed in exploded format http://www.jboss.org/community/docs/DOC-9719 then the changes to the jsps take effect immidiately and you dont need to redeploy the application nor restart the server. I haven't completed read that tutorial - you could have posted the appropriate code here :-) But here's the code which i think is responsible for the exception: public class PostMessage extends HttpServlet { | @Resource(mappedName="jms/NewMessageFactory") | private ConnectionFactory connectionFactory; | | @Resource(mappedName="jms/NewMessage") | private Queue queue; 1) As far as i know, the connection factory in JBoss is by default bound at "ConnectionFactory". So the first injection should look like: @Resource(mappedName="ConnectionFactory") | private ConnectionFactory connectionFactory; | or even @Resource | private ConnectionFactory connectionFactory; | 2) For the injection of the "queue" to happen, you should have deployed the queue through configuration file to be bound at jms/NewMessage. Have you done that? I use Jboss Tools 3 Beta 1 in Eclipse 3.4 I create new Dynamic Web Project, chose Dynamic Web Module Version and Jboss Seam Portlet Project v2.0, but when I publish project to Jboss version 4.2.3, it not compile java class, only copy it (e.x: only copy MyHelloWorldPortlet.java to MyHelloWorldPortlet.war/WEB-INF/classes) What did I do wrong ? You will have to provide us more details about your setup and the exception. When does this exception occur? The entire exception stacktrace. Also please provide the version of Java and exact version of JBoss. What is your application? How is it packaged and how is it deployed? [Microcontainer] - BeanMetaDataBuilder.createArray() surprise...

BeanMetaDataBuilder.createArray() is defined to return a List. If you are naive like me, you'll pass in this value to e.g. BeanMetaDataBuilder.addConstructorParameter(). This method is overloaded. The BeanMetaDataBuilder.addConstructorParameter(Object) variant will pick it up and you'll end up with a deployment error. The fix is to cast the List to ValueMetaData (because, lo and behold, the class which actually implements List is actually also a ValueMetaData as well) so that you get BeanMetaDataBuilder.addConstructorParameter(ValueMetaData) instead. This is a bit of a yucky API. How about adding an interface ArrayValueMetaData extends List, ValueMetaData and return that instead?
