I did more analysis and it looks like after back end nodes detects one of the node is down it re-elects the master (after calling ElectionPolicy), after that jboss just pauses, it just halts. Could there be a bug with how Proxy stub at Front end box is not able to make the remote call and just hangs? I am just wondering why would rebooting one box cause all other boxes to hang and why would EJB call not round robin in this case. [EJB 3.0] - JBoss 5 deployment error

[using JBoss 5.0.0.GA, with jbossws 3.0.4] I'm upgrading from 4.2 to 5.0, believe I have made the necessary changes to configuration files etc, but still cannot deploy. My ejb jar contains 4 session beans and one mdb. [JBoss Portal] - Dashboard url - drag and drop, reference for properties in x

Hello, I read in the reference manual that drag and drop functionality is only available on the dashboard - 1) is there a url for the dashboard ? i want to access the dashboard directly or provide drag and drop functionality 2) Also, I would like to setup the entire portal using xml files only. so that when the application goes to production, it can make changes accordingly. I believe this is the correct approach ? please correct me if i am wrong - I have configured my portal with a single page using the reference manual and only using xml files. now, I need to change the window size,etc., which I think might be one of the properties on is there a list of properties for each portal object, or some reference somewhere ? It all depends on your application, how many users your application has, and how your users typically use the application. The best thing to do is monitor the connection sizes and waiting queues and adjust accordingly. What version of JBoss AS? What JDK? Also, is there a stray log4j.jar file in your classpath? One way to find out is add the '-verbose:class" JVM option - it outputs the location of the jar file for each class loaded.
