[Messaging, JMS & JBossMQ] - MDB failing

I am trying to port/migrate my WebShpere based application to JBOSS and followed thru Wiki examples - work with MQ. Application has 1 MDB let say childMDB which listen on Q_IN and parent of this MDB say parentMDB is an abstract class with one method to send message further.In ejb-jar.xml & jboss.xml - defined childMDB. Problem comes when I drop the message in queue the log reflects error with respect to Parent Class - NoClassDefFoundError-parentMDB. Just like wiki example(MDB) I bundle everything in jar file instead of .ear or .war file. Am I missing something in deployment descriptor or issue with class loader? just my 2 cent: maybe I am missing your point, but in step 2 when you create the string with the actorId why don't you set the actorId directly on the swimlane and use the swimlane for the task? I think, you are right. If you want to deploy only in node1 and 2. Put the app in deploy directory of (node 1 and 2) only. To see if they are in cluster, do fail-over testing... Hello: For portal 2.6.3 bundle there's no IPC documentation. The link http://docs.jboss.com/jbportal/v2.6/reference-guide/en/html/ipc.html does not exist any more. The sample code at http://labs.jboss.com/portal/portletswap/portlets_tutorial.html does not work since the next snippet of portletA does no work: PortalNode thisNode = req.getPortalNode().getParent(); // will return this Page as a node. | PortalNode linkToNode = thisNode.resolve("../default"); | PortalNodeURL pageURL = resp.createRenderURL(linkToNode); The nodes 'default' and 'IPC' don't exist, only the instance 'HelloWorldPortletAWindow' is resolved.
