I think that you've got two hibernate sessions open for some reason. See the documentation http://docs.jboss.com/jbpm/v3/userguide/persistence.html#injectingthehibe... and http://docs.jboss.com/jbpm/v3/userguide/persistence.html#d0e2412 JbpmContext.close commits the hibernate session to your database. So you do kind of need to close the context in a finally block. Ok. So, I think there should be some error/warning log(s) in case of network problems at least? How can I switch the logging level of JBM and jboss-remoting and the other related modules ? I can also reproduce the problem and debug it myself. I just need some directions. I have already tried to debug the client side (the consumer), but there are only two threads blocked on a socket.read(). I haven't yet tried to debug the Jboss side of the JBM/remoting. i had already overriden hashCode en equals. that was/is not the issue as far as I can conclude. [ an object is equal if it has the same object ID, if no ID is present, values are compared, hashCode accordingly, using apache EqualsBuilder and apache HashCodeBuilder ] the only wat to fix it was to turn of LAZY loading of the related property. putting it on EAGER solves it. [Installation, Configuration & DEPLOYMENT] - Running JBoss as non-root user while listening on ports 80 a

How does one setup JBoss to run correctly while still being able to listen on ports 80 and 443 for http and https, respectively? I don't want to run as root. Unfortunately, my JBoss AS runs on a virtual machine - and the hosting company doesn't allow port forwarding. Would something like jsvc work for JBoss? [JBoss Tools (users)] - Deploy Directory Name

I am using Eclipse 3.2.1 with JBossAS-Tools-1.0.0.GA plugins, and jboss-4.2 As required by my project specs, I have renamed my jboss's "default" folder as say "abc" I want to integrate my eclipse and jboss As I understood from the documentation, the first step is to create a jboss runtime under Preferences -> Server -> Installed Runtime -> Add -> Jboss -> Next Here I want to configure my Jboss HOME I am facing with the following problems: 1. On selecting the Jboss Home, It expects "default" package. Is my deployment package configurable here ( ie, Can I say "abc" is my deployment package) 2. Just as a test, I renamed deployment package as "default" and located it. It accepts the deployment package with the following errors. It expects to see servlet-api.jar, and jsp-api.jar under server/default/lib directory. I do not want to put web related jars in my application How to create the jboss Runtime with application specific deployment directory name? Is there any thing that I am missing in my configuration ? I tried searching in this forum with similar post and other FAQs, but unable to get any help.
