[Installation, Configuration & DEPLOYMENT] - How to define a custom idle timeout action

Hi All, Is there a way to implement a custom idle timeout action? By this I mean, when the user's session times-out due to to idleness (as defined by "idle-timeout-minutes"), is there any way to intercept the event that is triggered in order to perform some custom action? Basically, based on how the user was authenticated (FORM or CLIENT-AUTH), I was to be able to decide what page to display to the user in order for them to re-login. Been googling like hell, but can't seem to find anything on this topic, seems like something that would be common enough, but it doesn't look like it. I'm using JBoss 4.0.5GA Thanks. [JBoss Tools (users)] - JBoss Portal/Portlet Tools

Hello all, I'm a happy user of JBossTools. But I noticed that there is no development for portlet projects. It would be nice to have my favorite IDE to generate form a a portlet project with preconfigured richfaces and seam(when that integration would be done.) My plans of development include this 3 extraordinary projects integrated to work together, and a help from the IDE would be nice. Any ideas what I have to add to the deployment descriptors to get this working. Since it's an abstract bean it doesn't seem to make sense to add it. I have already tried changing the @Resource annotation to use mappedName and this resolves the problem, however I need to defer the mapping to the "real" JNDI name to the deployment descriptor, as [JBoss Seam] - Problem with application with many portlets

Hello. We are writing application: Seam, EJB3 and portlets. File structure is sth like this: - ear - ejb.jar - portlet1.war - portlet2.war - portlet3.war .... And now.. here comes the problem. When application is starting, seam creates components instance for each portlet. For example we have 3 instance of our ConfigurationBean component in application scope. Is there any way to have only one instance of this bean ? [JBoss Seam] - scrollerListener method not found?!?

Hi, I'm trying to implement a scollerListener on a datascroller like the following: | <rich:datascroller id="scroller" for="matches" renderIfSinglePage="false" reRender="resultcount" scrollerListener="#{qsearchRequest.doScroll}"/> The EJB qsearchRequest is an ejb defined like so . . . @Name("qsearchRequest") | @Scope(org.jboss.seam.ScopeType.PAGE) | public class QSearchRequestAdapter { | | . . . . | | public void doScroll(DataScrollerEvent event) { | . . . | } | } The EJB is packaged in a jar file that is deployed as an ear alongside the xhtml file with the datascroller in it. Other properties of the qsearchRequest can be found, but not the doScroll method. What the heck am I doing wrong? Thanks.
