[JBoss Seam] - When to pass view id to FacesRequest/NonFacesRequest ?

Hi. FacesRequest and NonFacesRequest classes have two constructors, one that accepts no parameters and one that accepts view id (well, a third constructor exits). For writing integration tests, when I have to pass the view id to FacesRequest and NonFacesRequest? any rule? Thanks. [JBoss Seam] - setParameter() and setPageParameter()

Hi. What is the difference between setParameter() and setPageParameter()? I was writing an integration test for a page that accepts a page parameter and page action method. To set the parameter, I used setParameter(), it works but when swapped it for setPageParameter() it doesn't. When to use each method? Thanks. Just to make it clearer: * the interface I'm going to apply will remain the same during the whole program, and so I guess it can be loaded by a parent (even root) loader; * the class to which the interface will be applied can change during the program execution, and so should be loaded by a custom classloader. The actual hierarchy of the loaders is: root (loads the interface to add) | \ | \ | custom_add (loads the class with the interface) custom_remove (loads the class without the added interface) So my question is: why the addition can work and the removal not? I mean, after the class has been reloaded by custom_add, I can cast the class to the added interface, while after reloading it with custom_remove I _can still_ cast it to the interface. [Tomcat, HTTPD, Servlets & JSP] - Static Content / External Directories in jboss-4.2.1.GA

Hi, I recently migrated from jboss-4.0.5.GA to jboss-4.2.1.GA. Previously i was serving static content as described in the following wiki. With jbossWeb. This seems no longer to be working in jboss-4.2.1.GA. I added the context configs in jboss-service.xml in jboss-web-deployer and changed the jbossWebLoader attribute in server.xml to true. But i still cant serve static content found in external directories. Please help ! Use eclipse + jboss tools to generate a sample project and move on from there. You shouldn't have to do anything extra, I think the classes just have to be found by the same classloader that picks up your persistence.xml(?)
