You'd be better off asking them. The last I heard RHM (qpid is even worse) didn't support transactions. Did you follow Brian's suggestion and take some thread dumps? Take 2 or 3 a few seconds apart. That should pinpoint what code is using the processor. Then look at that code. (The last two times someone presented this same issue to me I found that the user's code had gone into an infinite loop.)
