This question was asked and answered very recently. The feature is in JBoss5, if you want it in jboss4.x then you can "backport" the code yourself, e.g. copy the code from JBoss5, rename the class and use that in your config. Yeah, I tried that link already. It doesn't even mention the "keepAlive" property that is in the default configuration for that factory. So much for that. The queue is redelivering the message to the MDB based on some kind of timeout. If what you say is true, the the EJB container is controlling the ack and is not acking until the transaction is complete, then that helps explain what is going on. Thank you. Thank you for the assistance, I believe I am extremely close. The database connection was made, and data was inserted. Here is a log of what is occurring, it appears somewhere I did not set "JbpmDS" to "DefaultDS". Any idea where I made the issue? http://www.pastebin.ca/978413 Also it was the "hibernate.cfg.xml" file that was causing that issue, I had not modified it. I changed the dialect and datasource. I redefined it properly 2) Variable Holder sessionId (defined as WebParam.Mode.OUT) should not be allocated in both sides (Server&Client) but only in the client side. [JBoss Portal] - portlet doView is called multiple times

This seems weird - or maybe I am just missing something - but doView is being called multiple times for the same request. I have several portal pages. Each page has only one portlet. My default page (HOME), has doView called 5 times for some reason. While all other pages have their portlet called 3 times. Weird! Did anyone have this issue before?
