[Messaging, JMS & JBossMQ] - stop/startDelivery not present in JCA

I'm using MDB's on JBoss 4.2. >From what I understand the start/stopDelivery management methods that where available in MDB MBeans in previous JBoss versions is no longer available now that JBoss is using JCA to connect to JMS servers (http://jira.jboss.com:8080/jira/browse/EJBTHREE-372?page=comments). So, what can I use instead of start/stopDelivery on JBoss 4.2.*? The stop/start methods on the MBeans is no good replacement. Can I extend the MDB MBean somehow, maybe? [JBossWS] - How do I install Axis on JBoss 4.x ?

As I unterstand Axis(2) is by default not included in JBoss (only JAX-WS). But Axis seems to be installable anyway. I googled a while for finding instructions on how to install Axis on JBoss 4.x AppServer. But I found only instructions for Jboss v3. Can someone point me to a step-by-step guide for v4? It seems to me that I have (after installation of Axis package) to disable/remove some special *.jar files from JBoss installation. Is that true? You are probably missing the correct rights. I had similar issues when I installed JBoss using apt-get/aptitude. It was a major PITA and after fiddling around for far to long I simply removed it and extracted a package into my home dir. Never had a problem since. I usually place only the jbossall-client.jar from the %JBOSS_HOME%\client folder in my client classpath. This jar contains almost every JBoss class that is required by the client. You probably have the bean (local) interface packaged in more than one jar. See this http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/ClassCastExceptions which mentions the probable cause. See if the jmx-console method mentioned there, helps.
