Andy, It's certainly nicht bei design, it is a 'bug'. All info there is is in the Jira. PLEAAAAAAASSSSSEEEEEEE search the forums first. You have to copy the images in the httpd machine and configure mod_proxy (or mod_jk) so that it is not serving the image so that the normal httpd logic serves the image.
