[Clustering/JBoss] - Problem singleton scheduling in a clustered JBoss 4.02 (java

Hi, I'm trying to schedule a singleton in an HA env. My application server is JBoss 4.0.2 in a cluster environment with 2 nodes. But I must say it is a much hard work to do! The documentation is not enough and I'm not so expert in JBoss and MBean realm. I followed the examples in the JBoss develop guide but something doesn't work yet. And now I'm in trouble! Hello, I have to use drools engine in RAD 6. The Eclipse version in RAD 6.0 is Eclipse 3.0.2. Which version of drools is compatible with RAD6? sorry to come back that late, but meanwhile I decided to give up (regarding the installation of those new versions), since I could not be able to find the SQL scripts mentioned by kukeltje to populate the JBPM tables. (nothing had to be done in 3.2.3 but in 3.3.1, SQL scripts have to be executed ?!) I'll come back when all that stuff is stable and documented (I keep my 3.2.3/AS4 for now !) Hi Edwardo, Yes JBoss Negotiation does require JBoss 4.2.x or JBoss 5.0.x, these versions use a later version of Log4j that provides the trace() method without needing to use the JBoss Logger. I will have a look for the next release to see if the logging can be made compatible with JBoss 4.0.5.GA but that is not really one of the target AS versions. Looking at your configuration I don't see anything that jumps out at me as being wrong. The error message that you have shown is something that is coming back from Active Directory, I have found the following page that contains some information on how to obtain further logging from Active Directory to start to diagnose why a request is failing. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;314980&sd=tech We can see from your logs that your host security domain is able to successfully authenticate using the keytab so I don't suspect a problem there. If possible do you have anything like Wireshark available to trace the network traffic between Server1 and Server2, one possible area to configure is that it may be a problem with the "java.naming.provider.url" - is this exactly the same name that you used to specify the KDC? If not it is possible that is it a case-sensitive comparison which is making the "java.naming.provider.url" look as though it is not trusted so the GSSAPI mechanism is not being used. Traces from Wireshark should show additional Kerberos requests that may illustrate if this is the problem.
