I have my JBoss Portal instance configured to work with Active directory. Now, I have a situation where I need to dynamically create roles. Disabling query caching works around the problem, which can be done in your test by adding: | @Override | protected boolean getUseQueryCache() { | return false; | } | The specific problem can also be addressed by using a separate cache for the timestamps (see docs). But the general problem discussed on the forum thread mentioned above of the possibility of lock conflicts due to lock striping remains. However, getting the timestamps cache out of the entity/collection cache reduces the problem to (a still significant) one of bad luck where concurrent txs contend for the same locks rather than an inevitable situation where changes to certain Fqns will always conflict with the lock stripe used by the timestamps cache. Hi, all In general, the sunnday scenario is work. However, if we encourter the exception or action execution failed. We want go to the fallout or rollback process? So, Could you share the experience about how to achieve it? If jBPM execute the action handler of processA failed or any exception occurs,i can invoke the fallout process dynamic to handler it using jBPM API? PS: the fallout process is not define in the processA, it is defined in another processdefinition. Maybe you can try to deploy/check your process and related action/assignment handler files. Because ther is an exception in your post: Caused by no action handler definition, so jBPM can't invoke it correctly. [EJB/JBoss] - EJB3 Load Balancing in a Cluster

I have a stateless session ejb3.0 deployed in jboss5.0.0 GA with the Cluster & Round robin load balance policy annotations set in the ejb bean. This ejb is invoked by a stand alone java client. Now the call from the client is as follows a) do HA _JNDI Lookup --> this is how my provider url is env.put("java.naming.provider.url","<IPADD1>:1100,<IPADD2>:1100") b) do 10 calls to the remote ejb.. here i find that all the 10 calls are routed to IP Add 1 only ... If I go through the entire process again i.e lookup & then ejb invocation, then the calls are routed to 2 nd server.. is the load balancing tied to the lookup.. i.e does the lookup refer to one server only at a time? I was under the impression that 10 calls will also be load balanced and will be routed as per the load balancing policy.. Can somebody explain.. Thanks Peter for response but issue was altogether different. I got the solution as mentioned in release notes http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=645033&group_id=2... We copy the few libraries from the JBOSS_HOME/client directory to the JBOSS_HOME/lib/endorsed directory That fixes it.
